I have replaced the cable, but it did not help. I have connected the printer to a laptop with the same Debian version and it worked fine. I have placed an USB PCI card in the computer, but that did not help. I removed HPlip completely and reinstalled it. Did not help. I replaced the USB-cable with a paralel-cable, but it did not help. I used the normal parallel port (no HPlip) and a "ljet4" driver. This worked. I purged and reinstalled everything from hpijs, but it does not help. Every time in this tests, I made a new printer in Cups. I would like to get it working with USB again, if somebody has suggestions, please tell.
