Just add a couple of keyword META tags to the page you want to come up first in the results. The content should be any words that users may search on that should return this page. More info:
http://www.htdig.org/meta.html The default weighting of keywords is reasonable and you shouldn't have to fiddle with *_factor settings. I do a search for "foo bar" and a document with the title "foo bar bob" is showing up as #4. Marketing wants it as #1. The first few documents do contain "foo" and "bar", but not in their titles or in other places I would consider "relevant". Now, I'd like to get a better understanding of the scoring associated with each document. Any hints as to how to approach this? I have $(SCORE) and $(PERCENT) in my results, but they don't offer a clue as to how those values were achieved. I think the answers to this question could probably fill an entire FAQ section of its own, but I'm interested in what other people have done to try to sort all of this out. (BTW: there are a bunch of PDF docs on my site, and those are the ones showing up earlier in the list even though "foo" and "bar" seem to be simple text in those docs, not in the title or links or anything) Thanks in advance, greg_fenton. ===== Greg Fenton [EMAIL PROTECTED] __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
