Hi eveyone, It looks like I was a little premature with my last message, since Htdig doesn't like my 'fixed' page any better than the bad one. To recap: I have a page which contains 26 links to the same database driven page, with a pair of parameters. The first of course is delimited with a Question Mark character, while the second is delimited with an Ampersand character. Initially the latter was actually the HTML entity. This works fine in a browser, which translates it back to the single character before requesting the URL, but not in htdig which sends the URL verbatim.
I therefore got the page changed so that it merely used a single Ampersand character, but htdig seems to be assuming that this is the start of an entity and strips out the entire parameter name, leaving: [ampersand] [equals] [value] (two single characters followed by a string) (hope that makes sense - I've seen too many of these examples broken because they tried to use the actual characters.) I've re-read the config file, and the reference, but can't figure this out, does anyone have any clues? Thanks, Mike (Still looking for a binary of 3.1.6 for NT) Who we are ...... What we do .....
