A G4 Mac running Leopard (OS X 10.5.8)

For your test version, patfree panomatic crashes:

EXC_BAD_ACCESS (SIGBUS)
KERN_PROTECTION_FAILURE at 0x0000000000000024

but maybe that has to do with the separate problems we're having with patfree panomatic (?) Note that this one did *not* crash using your 5116-p2 build.

Otherwise, no: the problem still exists for all three control point generators. The finding control points window remains visible and cannot be closed. Can't continue... must force quit Hugin.

Thanks,

eo

Hi Eric,

The last few lines seen in the fcp window for the run of each detector:

But... the fcp dialog remains displayed. The only button is "Cancel." Pressing Cancel or the close widget on the window resutls in the message "Hugin Error. Failed to kill process 10638, error 3: no such process"

There's no way to continue with the "finding control points" dialog in this state. I have to force quit Hugin.

About 15-16 months ago we needed to create a workaround for wxmac on Tiger/ppc versus Leopard/ppc as leopard did not behave correctly. For this exact same error as mentioned above the work-around was created (in collaboration with a dev from the wxwindows team). It now seems that tiger/ppc misbehaves the same, so I now applied the same leopard/ppc workaround also for tiger/ppc.
I have no idea whether it works or not.
For all of you on Tiger on G4/G5, please download <http://hugin.panotools.org/testing/hugin/Hugin.app.zip > and see whether it works or not.
