You can only resume stitching on the command-line. i.e. in a shell
do something like this:
make -f P1020147-P1020152.pto.mk
Where 'P1020147-P1020152.pto.mk' is the Makefile created by Hugin
whenever you save.
You can resume a stitch that started in the GUI (I just tested), but
the filename of the output needs to match the filename of the
project, i.e. if you have a project and a Makefile with these names:
P1020147-P1020152.pto
P1020147-P1020152.pto.mk
..you need to be stitching an output file called:
P1020147-P1020152.tif
