Thanks for taking the time for this thorough reply and sharing your
insight. I was not fully aware of all the dependencies and intricacies
involved.
So, to end this part of the thread: I don't think now is the right
time to apply for OpenUsability, but still a good time to note and
collect some of the major GUI quirks to bring them to the attention of
proficient coders which are aware of the full photographic workflow.
