I don't think enfuse can help with this.
There is some GPL Matlab software here

It is a Matlab GUI tool, but the functions that actually do the real work
may run in Octave...I have not tried it.
There is also some Matlab software on the Matlab file exchange (it may be
the same?) which provides some links to some papers on the subject, if
that is any help.
