I had a look at the site you mention, Steve. It seems to have a good
range of input and all the usual suspects for Hum generation.
This certainly highlights the problem of 'noise' in the technical
sense. Many things can contribute to the same end result and this
allows Govt to hide behind confusion and ignorance in the general
population.
Recently, I see you've been helping a lot of people on there with
their various problems with hum.
What came to mind when reading was the old one not seen much now- sand
abrasion /sea wave resonance round the planet.
I even remember, thinking myself away back, about all those crystal
grains resonating round the world. Sand in cement would seem too
locked in to matter, but most of matter is vacuum so plenty of space
to play around in there! As half the earth crust is made of the stuff
[quartz etc] it's possible that computers are not the only recipients
of natures largesse!
I don't suggest you try this experiment- but it illustrates what can
be done at a basic level and thus what 'might' be possible at a higher
level. I do know that the piezoelectric effect is higher frequency
than hum by orders of magnitude, but second order effects are still
possible taking Haarp, Schumann resonance, solar disturbances into
account where huge energies and discreet mechanism could be coupled
together. Just a thought...
