In the UK they are now installing Smart meters on a voluntary basis around the country by the incentive of having a real time meter showing consumption. The scheme is rolling out and being installed in most houses by the next seven years. Though when they do come to your door you can refuse it.
Having read all the problems with headaches created by the wireless fields I do not want one, but as said if my next door neighbour gets one installed, well I get radiated as well. Another factor and more worrying which has been mentioned on many websites is that it is a big brother tool, as the electrical reading being on real time basis, authorities can know all dates and times that you are in your house burning electricity, and can profile you. At present this info is private, but for how long, when electrical companies will eventually hand over this information to third parties for cash, or by law? As for the hum, well again this could be a contributing factor that spreads the hum, but not sure. On Monday, December 17, 2012 3:36:19 AM UTC, Lynn wrote: > > Hello all!
