Christa If you ever visit Galicia, you should try and make a visit to Casa das Crechas in Santiago de Compostela. It's probably the best "folk club" I've seen around. One night they might have traditional Galician tunes and songs (check "Banda das Crechas" on Youtube), the other they might have, for example, artists from Brittany like Nolwenn Korbell and Soig Siberil, like when i was there in July (you can find some of that night on Youtube as well). They have foliadas (the Galician equivalent of the Irish séisiun or session) every now and then.
