Michael, Have you looked at Indiana University in Bloomington? I don't know if they have an audio production program per se, but media studies are big and it might fit in there. There is also the Early Music Institute, which is one of the best programs of its type in the U.S. If Vlad, one of the list members, notes your message, he can probably tell you more since he works with the Institute.
