[Again, apologies to any who get this twice, but the group is
sometimes letting me email it and sometimes not. Since I don't see my
email on the group page, I'm reposting directly here.]

Hi all,

I've always played my instrument in a C/G tuning with g g' g'
chanters. Per my request a while ago, I've been trying out some
alternate tunings (specifically g g' d''). As I've never worked with a
high D chanter before, I'm finding that the one I'm using is giving me
a lot of trouble with warbling and adjustment. Any advice anyone care
to give on what might cause warbling? I've tried reshimming,
recottoning, etc., and the results seem to be the same. Since this is
my first time working with these high strings, there are probably
obvious things I'm overlooking.
