Just installed the plugin on a Windows XP PC and played/viewed several of the
.myr file without a problem. Browser was IE8. Is there no app for Linux that
will play/read MIDI (.mid) files?

> The site is for the Association d'Étude, de Promotion et d’Enseignement
> des Musiques Traditionnelles des Pays de France, and in addition to
> their remarkable catalog of CD's, the site also offers an on-line music
> library which I personally find astonishing. The many, many tunes there
> are in ".mid" format, and also in a music notation format called ".myr,"
> readable through a browser plugin which can be downloaded through links

> and MacOS environments. On my Mac it appears to do nothing, and on
> Windows the results seem inconsistent, always odd and sometimes
> unreadable. If it works for you, please send word. This library appears
> to be a remarkable resource, and I'd love to be able to make use of it.
