OK, two points here.

1) When discussing the expertise of Olympic Musical Instruments, for some reason I am often singled out as
"The Builder". While we are equal partners, if anyone in our shop is "The Builder", it
is Cali. As Listmaster, I am somewhat more often the public face of Olympic Musical Instruments, but Cali is
the one with the woodworking, finishing and playing chops to make it all happen, and she doesn't get the
recognition for it as often as she should. Consequently I'm going to be a little more aggressive in
reminding people that I am only half of OMI. Unless it's related to the instrument's electronics or to a
direct quote of something I said, I suggest that you all get used to saying "Cali and Alden". (This
is a general issue that I've noted for a long time, and Chris' message brought it home for me, so I'm not
picking on you, Chris. ;-) )

2) I'm not going to join another list to talk about building HG's. If those discussions
are happening here, I will participate as much as my time allows. Building discussions
have been pretty limited in the past, and I'm pleased to see them happening here. As
always, my rule of thumb is whether the discussion is related to the instrument, and the
building discussions certainly are. It's a new discussion for which I think there's some
pent-up interest, so there may be considerable posting about it for the foreseeable
future. As noted earlier in :"The Listmaster Speaks", the delete key is your
best friend if you don't find a conversation interesting. Disgruntlement with this
policy should be directed to me personally, not this list. Thank you.

Sincerely,

Alden the Listmaster
