You can change the RM1x from single to multi-channel receive in SONG mode by
pressing record and turning the F1 knob from "single" to "multi" - channel
receive. Once "multi" is selected the RM1x will respond like a tone module
(I think even *without* the record-ready button being engaged). You then
have a choice of recording the mc-50's output into the RM1x.

I doubt that the RM1x will read a mc-50 file. It wants to see a standard
MIDI file on a DOS formated floppy (DD or HD). Perhaps the mc-50 will let
you save a song as a MIDI file ? . . . Otherwise, just have the mc-50 play
back and record its output into the RM1x as noted above.
