Cakewalk and RM1X

I've checked throught the backlog of 1000's of mails I have from the mailing
list but cannot find anything which tells me how to synch my RM1X up to
Cakewalk.  I've been trying for a few days now and can't get it to work.  I
can see that the midi in in Cakewalk is receiving data but cannot get it to
synch properly.  I thought I would try rebirth as this looks an easier
prospect but again it won't have it.  Any help greatly appreciated.
