O,k I'm trying to remember this stuff( I use a yamaha Qy-700 now) .You can
assign any channel you want to any track(1-8) you can also
merge(combine)tracks and they can still be on seperate midi channels,they
can also be unmerged.One part consists of 8 trks(which can have more if you
merge them)
and can be as long as you set it to be(I think theres a limit on the length
of a part
but it's pretty long)anyway if the part is 16 measures or 32 or whatever it
will just loop until it comes to the next thing you tell it to go to which
can be set in song mode.It really is a cool machine, does more than people
give it credit for.
