you are right. if i create this editor i fight with a lot of segfaults into the 
sample memory management.
so i designed this way to mange this. the first prio and characteristic here is 
that you only change a sample in memory and not the sample on hardisk.
all changes on samples will saved into the song xml file. so you can create 
every time different samples with the same instrument sample in different songs.
the individual song sample will recreate from the song file settings by loading 
the song. 

in moment this way save memory because i don't create a tmp. sample object for 
real-time editing.

:-))) this is a main problem with h2. no undo and redo. maybe this will follow

you are right. this is a logical error. i know this. in this code peace i have 
to rewrite a complex (for me :-)) 'if else' logic. the problem is the position 
of loop slider. this only happens if loopslider is not the same than sample 
start. grmph. i hope my brain can unsnarl this.

in general i can say... my first prio is to find the occasional segfaults if 
you open the sample editor. if i not fond this problem i don't want to spend so 
much time for editor enhancement.
