So one can save a click > or a keystroke to hear changes (you must click apply then play) when > experimenting a lot with start, loop and stop markers, loop count, etc. you are right. if i create this editor i fight with a lot of segfaults into the sample memory management. so i designed this way to mange this. the first prio and characteristic here is that you only change a sample in memory and not the sample on hardisk. all changes on samples will saved into the song xml file. so you can create every time different samples with the same instrument sample in different songs. the individual song sample will recreate from the song file settings by loading the song. in moment this way save memory because i don't create a tmp. sample object for real-time editing. > 2) adding Undo and Redo history to easily make AB comparisons and have > the benefit of an history?
