Oops, I forgot to add some suggestions, sent the message with the note
about that in italian :)
How about:
1) making the "play" button a "preview" button? So one can save a click
or a keystroke to hear changes (you must click apply then play) when
experimenting a lot with start, loop and stop markers, loop count, etc.
2) adding Undo and Redo history to easily make AB comparisons and have
the benefit of an history? With the "apply+play together" button I'm
suggesting in 1) it would be very handy imho.
3) adding a snap-to-zero checkbox so you can jump fast from zero to zero
to avoid clicks in the sound, instead of tweaking positions increasing
one sample at a time?
4) adding a zoom with the mouse wheel and drag the sample with
click+drag in the smaller view?
And last, a question/suggestion: let's assume I set the loopmode to
pingpong. The pingpong mode plays the sample forwards until the end
marker, then replays the L-E section _forwards_, then proceeds to
reverse and reverse etc.

and so on.
Shouldn't pingpong mode go this way?

This is the way Specimen works, in pingpong mode...

Oh yeah, I guess now this was just suggestion 5) :)
Thank you and cheers for the coming baby!!!
Ciao!
