I'm trying the samplefun branch those days and, man! This thing is
AWESOME! It is really pure FUN! I find me spending hours just playing
and experimenting :)

This branch kicks ass, and note_key feature is no less. But how about a
spinbox so that the root note_key could be set to other than 36 ? Middle
C (60) would be handy to insert notes lower than the root one, with a
MIDI keyboard which doesn't have transpose or octave controls...
