Hydrogen songs can't store/create tempo changes... but Hydrogen does
follow tempo changes from the following sources:  the "tap tempo" (hit the
comma key on the keyboard), manipulating the BPM widget, or through tempo
changes from the JACK transport.

It is implemented as a single value state variable (i.e. BPM), not a tempo
map.  If you do any seeking, the current tempo will remain until you
change it.  As JACK Transport slave, if the transport master has a tempo
map (like Ardour or Rosegarden) then Hydrogen will follow all the tempo
changes.
