what if I revert these xsd, xml format changes, and put them into
another branch.
Each time I look at these low level stuff I see many ugly/incoherent
things,
the latest being pan_L pan_R, why 2 values it's 1 knob on any mixing
table,
why [0;1] in drumkit and [0;0.5] in pattern ...
maybe scripts are here around to generate drumkits, but honestly,
we should provide them (python3,ruby ...) and a drumkit creation wizard
in H2 !
I don't know about softwares that read h2drumkit files ...
maybe it makes sense to collect those changes for Hydrogen 1.1, so we
could focus on tyding up our complete XML files (including
hydrogen.conf) in one go.
as for as I am in my thoughts right now, maybe also forget about XDG
support and data files installation path changes.
Why exactly? Because of the possible delay for the rc1? Or because this
has some dependency to the xml? I'm not sure about what you mean here.
If its about the delay: I suppose it would be not a problem throw in a
beta3 to give this to a wider audience for testing and wait for a month
until rc1.
