There are still numbers of waterfowl around, though not like last week. A Greater Scaup was in with the Lesser Scaup at Crystal Lake.
New birds for today were 5 Amer. Golden Plover along with Yellowlegs in a field pond near Crystal Lake in Hancock County. A Broad-winged Hawk at Pilot Knob, Hancock County, and Chipping Sparrows and Purple Martins in several places. A Golden Eagle was sitting in a tree by the Winnebago River southeast of town late this afternoon.
