The winds hampered seeing Matt Kenne's interesting birds of Sunday. I did see a Swainson's Hawk in the Buffalo Creek access area, two small flocks of Lapland Longspurs, 12 Forster's Terns at Union Slough and a Harris' s Sparrow in Kossuth County, along with a few duck species.
At Eagle Lake in Hancock County there were Forster's Terns . All over there were hundreds of swallows at large bodies of water. The wind was unrelenting!!!
