Birds of interest today were:
Eagle Lake State Park: Yellow-rump Warblers Palm Warblers and a Cattle Egret. Eagle Flats: four Henslow Sparrows in a field and a Grasshopper Sparrow. Crystal Lake area: Sora and American Bittern (last week I saw/heard two Va Rails and six Soras) Crystal Lake: Franklin's Gulls and two Spotted Sandpipers. Ventura: The Eurasian Collared-Doves are doing well!! Eight species of duck were seen.
