Click the restore button on any open PDF and you will see that they are actually opening under one instance of Reader. Also, hold down alt-tab and you'll see all your open PDF windows plus one more for the Reader application.
That misbehavior does NOT happen if you use Acrobat Reader under the browser. (It was annoying as heck before I learned that lesson.) The other reason I like PDF versions of manuals is that I have found a way to actually download some of those nearest and dearest to me into my Palm. (The manuals DID get "smaller and harder to read" but I carry them with me everywhere.) -- Tom Schmidt Madison, WI (* The "smaller and harder to read" line is from 'The Onion' - "America's finest newssource".) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: GET IBM-MAIN INFO Search the archives at http://bama.ua.edu/archives/ibm-main.html
