Hello esteemed sysprog gurus,
Esteemed? Not my call. A sysprog? No. But I'll see if I can assist

How do I issue a WTO and have the output NOT go to the console? (When I say
console, I'm referring to SDSF's "log" command)
There are two system logs. One is called SYSLOG, the other is OPERLOG.
You don't say which you're viewing with SDSF's "LOG" command, but the
answer is essentially the same for either one.
Issue the following command:
D C,HC
You will get back something like this (from my "production" system):
|IEE889I 11.47.50 CONSOLE DISPLAY 697
|MSG: CURR=29 LIM=5000 RPLY:CURR=5 LIM=26 SYS=MVS70 PFK=00
| CONSOLE ID --------------- SPECIFICATIONS ---------------
| OPERLOG COND=H AUTH=CMDS NBUF=N/A
| ROUTCDE=1-10,12-13,15-128
Note the ROUTCDE= specification showing which routing codes are being
logged. If the routing codes of your WTO don't match those being
captured by SYSLOG or OPERLOG, they will not appear there.
