Basically, I think that you are hosed. If the sysprog wants, then all WTOs will go to the SYSLOG. Well, unless you are APF authorized.
What you most likely want is a method to get a message to the JESLOG of the job, correct? In the past, I knew a way to find the ACB for that JES output dataset and then do a VSAM type PUT to it. But that was many years ago! Perhaps somebody has an up to date version of this?
