You've addressed a symptom.
DB2 is not the only one affected by this design flaw.

Many other stc's also have the syptom addressed.
I.e. DFRMM can be recycled for reconfiguration or just modified.
Onece, again: I'm not happy of the problem, but I believe that IBM really know this limitation and work on it - to solve or circumvent.
