There is a Write Track command for the 2105, but it is not publicly
documented yet.
The Write Full Track CCW (op code 95) was first introduced with the 9340
disks and is well documented in their manuals. As you say, it is
supported on 2105 and its successors but for some reason it is not
documented in the public 2105 reference manuals. Note that it is not
necessarily supported on all other vendor systems runnng in 2105
emulation mode; there is a feature bit that indicates if it is supported
or not.
