Our business hours are all day long!
We have offices in every time-zone, all hooked up to the same m/f in Texas.
I'm just statrting my day, Germany is just finishing theirs, Asia finished
theirs earlier, and my colleagues on the left-coast has another three hours to
go before they start.
When business ends the onlines come down for a couple hours, batch runs, and
they come back up.
So, yes we prefer business hours, but whose?
What about your developers ?
Are they also spread across timezones ?
Do they have any resources ?
BTW: Not every business is evenly distributed across the timezones, so
they could have free CPU cycles.
For example, AFAIK the largest GDPS installation in Europe works mostly
for european timezone.
