Perhaps you could tell me if you have had any luck migrating OS/390 1.3 HSM CDSs to z/OS.

There are no catalog changes that preclude you from converting to 1.11 from 1.6 nor are there any to keep you from falling back. I have literally performed over 100 of these "non supported" conversions (from many releases much further back than 1.6) and there are actually VERY few things that you have to worry about and most of them are SYSPLEX related and may not even apply to you at all. As a matter of fact, I just finished a 1.6 to 1.10 conversion 3 weeks ago, and I have two clients that are waiting for the 1.11 system to be made available for them, one is 1.4 and the other is OS/390 2.9. The OS/390 one is a bit special because it also includes a simultaneous Hardware migration. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [email protected] with the message: GET IBM-MAIN INFO Search the archives at http://bama.ua.edu/archives/ibm-main.html
