Gee, if so, I would really, really, really hope that they'd dump ECKD
and go with FBA, like the rest of the known universe.
Zseries does now support SCSI/Fibre/FBA, but only for Linux and VM for
now. Converting MVS to FBA would be such a fundamental and far-reaching
change, it is unlikely. But FBA support, as an alternate to ECKD, may
appear
