Presumably you'll be trying to move (at least) the biggest alias -
this can
take many hours.
When I was recently tooling around with catalogs, I found it

*much* faster to EXPORT/IMPORT.

Oh, and RTFM

And I will second the RTFM. Oh yes... if you run FDRABR there will be
some issues. I got burnt by this. FDRABR uses an "unused" field in
the catalog. REPROMERGECAT does not carry it forward . (something
that is not documented in the IBM manual so even if you do RTFM it
doesn't help.
Its been discussed on here before.
