There is no issue if the libraries have gone into extents. There used to be performance issues, but with modern disks, there are no longer any. The linklist, like any library concatenation, has to be less than 256 extents. Each library counts as one. Each additional PDS extent counts, as well. PDSE's count as a single extent, regardless.
