DATACLAS would potentially supply a BLKSIZE for the DCB, but would ***NOT*** override the "blklgth" of 605 coded in SPACE=, is that correct? No matter what DATACLAS said, I'd still get the 104 tracks primary implied by the SPACE= parameter (barring an allocation failure), is that correct?

If DATACLAS is not coded then it is being added by the ACS routine. Whether it specifies a blocksize is something you will have find out from the customer. -----Original Message----- From: Charles Mills [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Friday, June 16, 2006 2:04 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: Track capacity?
