You didn't write what platforms do you backup.
However I would suggest Tantia Backup (former Harbor Backup). It is a
product of Betasystems company.
The server can be installed on z/OS LPAR (or Windows PC), the prices is
*not* related to your MIPS base or your car model <g>.
Agents for Windows, Unix, including z/OS USS files, some databases, some
mail systems.
If you have HDS disks (that means Comparex/Sun/HP/HDS) then you can do
LANless backup (data are sent over FC and ESCON/FICON channels).
