We have 8 ML1 volumes, 2 show MIGDS with a number and the other 6 show
MIGDS=00000.  All have data on them, and the two that have a number, the
number doesn't match the actual number of datasets on the disk.

Well, now you've got me going here.  I did the LIST ML1 command and
receive the same information that Joe does.  Our SSM is working just
fine and we run HSM audits on a daily basis.  Hmmmm .... now on to the
manuals
