>Does anyone else suffer from this delay? >Is this normal behaviour? As far as I know, yes, this is normal. We had delays up to 10 minutes for the big Domino databases at startup during IPL. IIRC, we also had an ETR open with IBM and were told that this is broken as designed. In addition we found out that our migration to zFS (from HFS) that appeared to be a big performance boost was unnecessary. Instead, we should have 'just' reorganized the HFS files (as in copy them logically, not physically), that would have yielded the same performance boost. We have migrated back to HFS, and performance did not get worse.
