No, but this has been a favorite fantasy of mine for the last couple of 
years.  We will be making improvements in this general area, however, that 
will benefit Linux.

And rightly so.  :-)  The I/O models for a character mode VT220 and a 
block mode 3270 are just too far apart to allow meaningful translation. 
It's been tried many times.  (The ASCII terminal functions in the 3174 
don't count.)
