Yes. 99 sounds like a good value to ensure you get everything on the tape, BUT, HSM divides the total number of volumes to dump by the STACK value to determine the number of tasks to run. MAXDUMPTASKS DOES NOT APPLY WHEN USING STACK!!! So 99 can over- or under-allocate your tape drives. Tony Pearson promised that he would fix this, but they never got around to it.
