Would you implement this with RETPD=1827, which makes it easier to
scratch the tapes for the next cycle, or still with EXPDT=99366,
which provides some safety if you're inadvertently a few days late
re-copying?

In either case, what procedures can remind the programmer when
re-copy is due?

Can HSM help automate this? Does HSM automatically refresh aging
archive media? Can HSM manage tape data sets?
