If you must copy all virtual tapes and you have CA-1 of TLMS, the
COPYCAT utility does it for you. It makes life easy since it will take
care of all the adminstrative hustle of the migration, it copies all the
TMC info to the new tape and handles multi-volume, multifile,
multivolume/multifile tapes perfectly. You give it a number of input
tapes and enough time and you can watch the migration while leaning back
in your chair.
