Hello All.
I am in the market for a new notebook/laptop. I am looking at DeLL,
Toshiba and recommendations from this group.
Any suggestions are gratefully appreciated.
One thing that has turned me off is having no choice between Vista &
XP Pro.

I've been very satisfied with my 7-year old Toshiba. No Wi-Fi but it
runs all my M$ Office pgms without any problems. Ran slow when I sarted
up a TN3270 Client at the same time, but a memory upgrade took care of
that. Battery seems to last longer than friends' Sony's and IBM
Thinkpads. Heard some bad things about Dell support lately, but I've
never needed to call Toshiba support.
