After going from z/OS V1.4 to z/OS V1.7 I have noticed that we are now getting our catalogs Auto tuned.
IEC391I CATALOG CATALOG.DIC3.TECH HAS BEEN AUTOTUNED TO: IEC391I BUFNI: 4 BUFND: 18 STRNO: 2 Is there some sort of performance issue I should be aware of? Should I turn it off until we are ready to tune our catalogs? Or is it better to take the action recommended? I have been reading the manual's but I love the wisdom out there, so just thought I would ask. Pro's or Con's are welcomed.
