IMHO there is no reason to mirror CFRM using XRC, unless you have GDPS.
What you really need is source IXCMIAPU commands for creation CFRM
policy. With hardware names adjuste to DR site CPCs.
Regarding modern DASD and CDS placement: even on modern DASD arrays
there is still old RESERVE on volume. I believe this is the most
important reason for keeping those CDSes separate.
BTW: I was teached (by IMBer who know sysplex very well) that I should
keep separate CFRM pri and SYSPLEX pri. No mention about third volume
for LOGGER pri.
