Can't schedule an IPL to complete the SVC install?  No problem, we'll
just code up some assembler around the SVCUPDTE macro and update it on
the fly.

Two observations:
1) Those were the good old days, I'm sure, but from what I see today
such skills are becoming rarer.
2) What is keeping IBM from implementing some method that makes use of
SVCUPDTE?  Like a utility or some hooks into the SETPROG LPA command?
