No trace tables, no Messages and Codes, No SAG, no MANUALS PERIOD.
(If there are I sure have not heard of any), NO CLASSES (IBM) (Steve
here is your que). Especially no debugging classes (big call to
Steve), It should would embarrass IBM to have a 3rd party offer
something.
IBM has let loose a product nobody can put their hands on. This is
extremely unlike IBM, if this is the future I hate to say it maybe
its time for the MF to die.

There is documentation, just follow the link below which has been in every
one of my emails (at the bottom). Just because you cannot find it does not
mean it is not there, an all too familiar misconception I am afraid. If
you can offer something constructive as to how to make it more prominent,
then please say and I will pass that on.

IBM has full control of the product, I can assure you, but I have a
feeling that you are already committed in your mind to ignore everything I
say despite the fact that I am in the JTC and I can see exactly what is
going on.

I seem to remember more than a hint of sarcasm about the PC, if the MF
dies what will replace it? If you search hard enough you will find that a
very large % of the daily business activity is handled by the good old MF,
and WAS (and hence Java) is now a very popular product.

That still doesn't sound like the traditional IBM any old time (IMO)
would have made a method o this apparent madness for debugging
purposes when this is let (wait its too kate) go to the customer.
What I am understanding from your writing there is no way to debug
this monster and we are essentially buying a pig in a poke. Don't
ever open a PMR as it will certainly never be closed (with a fix).

You do not seem to have grasped at all what I have been saying, maybe you
need to sit back and read it again carefully. I have been discussing the
way Sun designed Java and its evolution, and how IBM MUST conform or it
will never be useable. What is certain is that Java will continue to be
one of the leading languages out there, and you may just have to accept
that.

As for "Don't ever open a PMR as it will certainly never be closed (with
a fix)." Can you substantiate that with fact? If not it might be wiser
not to say such things.

So far in this thread I have tried to offer logical and reasoned arguments
for my point of view based on facts not surmise nor lack of knowledge, I
think that this will be my last word on the subject now as I sense this is
a hopeless cause.
