That's vaguely how I remember the GUI version of RMF(RMF/PM)?... I think it was
a file in sys1.samplib that needs to be FTP'd to the PC...

Shai

PC files distributed via SMP/E is done for certain products - however most (if
not all) of the cases where I have seen this done the next install instruction
is to transfer the SMP/E installed binary object over to the PC workstation and
then execute it as "setup.exe" or unzip it.

In this case, SMP/E is only being used as a install package container it is not
managing the individual PC component elements but rather some large binary blob.

HI,

Can you put PC files in SMP/E with the MVS files?

And if yes,What is the best way to install the product (MFNetDisk) which have
the MVS load library and two PC files (PC Server and PC Tool).

Do not forget that all of them can have dependency.

Only curious.

Thanks,
Shai
