If they are running batch that is causing resource contentions with itself, it's not good. If their batch is done in time to have 4 idle hours at the end of their shift, you don't have a performance problem.
If you are paying measured usage rates on a high-cpu value that happens AT NIGHT, it's might not be good either. I've flattened our batch CPU curve, it lasts longer, but my CPU max values are lower, so I pay less. Yes, my peak is from 12-1 AM, but it's is a value that I also need during peak daytime use also.
